Opening and Closing Rank in AIIMS 2017 for Gen, OBC, SC, ST category in Different AIIMS College

The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) declared the results for its Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) entrance exam on 18 June 2018. AIIMS has provided the list of the the students who are eligible for AIIMS counselling. AIIMS never released marks obtained by students. AIIMS New Delhi has declared AIIMS MBBS result 2018 in the form of roll-number wise and rank-wise merit lists containing names and individual percentile scores of the candidates.

The total number of qualified for the 1st round of counselling are four times the actual number of seats published in AIIMS 2018 notification. Many students are confused that there are only 807 seats and more than 4000 students have qualified the exam. How is it possible? They are worrying about their rank whether they will be able to get a seat in AIIMS or not. So now the students want to know which college they can get on their particular rank. They want to know which college must be filled first so that they can get admission in one of the best AIIMS colleges. I make a list of cut off category wise based on seat allocation of AIIMS 2017. Here you will find the opening and closing rank of different colleges in AIIMS 2017.  It will be helpful to you in getting an idea which college you might be allotted based on your rank. But before going to the opening and closing rank, studnets must know about the total number of seats in AIIMS 2018. This year total number of seats have been increased to 807 from 707 last year. This year two new AIIMS college ( Guntur and Nagpur) have been added in the AIIMS colleges where students will get admision for MBBS through AIIMS 2018. Here in the below table total number of seats category wise and college wise have been given.

Here is the detail of opening and closing ranks of 7 AIIMS Colleges i.e AIIMS New Delhi, Bhopal, Bhubaneshwar, Jodhpur, Raipur, Patna, Rishikesh. AIIMS Guntur and AIIMS Nagpur have been added this year. So there is no opening and clsoing rank for these AIIMS college. Please go throught he table and get an idea about chances of your college for admission in MBBS course in AIIMS 2018. 

Opening and Closing Rank of AIIMS College (AIIMS 2017) :-

These ranking are of AIIMS 2017, these are just for reference there may be variation in AIIMS 2018. You can just take help of this table while choosing colleges during counselling process. According to me your preference of college in AIIMS counselling may be -

1. AIIMS New Delhi

2. AIIMS Bhopal, Jodhpur, Bhubaneshwar - based on your location, your interest. Academically these three college are of equivalent level.

3. AIIMS Raipur, Rishikesh, Patna - may prefer based on your location, ranking of these three are same

4. AIIMS Guntur, Nagpur - These are two new AIIMS introduced this year. You may go for as last option.
